The Supreme Court yesterday (17) dismissed a fundamental rights violation petition filed by the Centre for Policy Alternatives (CPA) challenging the Presidential regulation declaring an area in the Mutur Divisional Secretariat area owned by presently displaced persons as a High Security Zone.
  
Defence Minister, Defence Secretary, Security Forces Commander (East), Commanders of the Army, Navy and the Sri Lanka Air Force, the Inspector General of Police, Board of Investment of Sri Lanka and the Attorney General were cited as respondents in this case.
