President meets Chinese investors

President Mahinda Rajapaksa met a group of Chinese investors led by Cen Furong, President of the Shanghai International Trade Promotion Board at Temple Trees yesterday (24).
  
The President briefed the guests on the current situation in the country and on the prospects for investment in Sri Lanka. He showed them the opportunities available in the resource rich Eastern Province, which was recently liberated from LTTE terrorism. Such investment would be mutually very profitable, he added.
  
The Chinese investors expressed their desire to invest in the fields of construction and infrastructure development and appreciated the facilities provided by the Government for investors.
