Sri Lanka is to gain advantageous access
to the Libyan markets and make use of Libyan construction boom to find
employment opportunities for Sri Lankan nationals following the visit of
Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama to Libya. The Minister was also
accompanied by Petroleum and Petroleum Resources Development Minister A
H M Fowzie and a nine-member business delegation. A Commercial Consulate
will also be set up in Libya to facilitate commercial ties between the
two countries.
