Tiger suspects further remanded in Paris

A French Court in Paris extended for four months the remand custody of fourteen LTTE suspects arrested in early April by the French Anti-Terrorist Police. This is for the Police to complete their investigations into their alleged terrorist activities .The suspects will be next produced in Court during the first week of December.
  
The 18 suspects are:

1. Nadarajah Mathinthran alias Reagan alias Parithi
   ( Kayts)
2. Aravinthan Thureswamy alias Metha
   (Chavakachcheri )
3. Thuraisamy Jeyamoorthy alias Jeya or Sinna Jeya
   (Jaffna)
4. Balsingham Kantharuban alas Ruban ( Nedunkerni )
5. Kandasamy U,alumaran alias Karan ( Punguduthivu)
6. Mahaligam jesuthas alias Venthan (Vavuniya)
7. Sellakandu Ravikulam (Kopay)
8. Kandiah Mohandas ( Uduvil)
9. Jesuthasan Paul Newman alias Kathir (Jaffna)
10. Sinnathamby Suthakaran ( Chavakachcheri)
11. Rajalingam Murugananthan (Jaffna)
12. Puthiyan Thayalan alias Thaya ( Putur)
13. Srikanthan Pratheepan (Vedithalthivu)
