Curfew relaxed for Nallur festival

Security forces have relaxed the curfew existing in Jaffna in order to facilitate the annual festival of the Sri Kandasamy Hindu Kovil in Nallur, Jaffna. It is relaxed throughout the Jaffna peninsula and the islands off it on September 9 and 10 when the main ceremony takes place.
  
Besides the Sri Lanka Air Force will be providing special air transport facilities at concessionary rates to the devotees traveling from Colombo to attend the festival.
