Five new diplomats

Five new diplomats appointed to Sri Lanka from countries of South East Asia, Europe, Africa and South America presented their credentials to President
Mahinda Rajapaksa today.

They are Mr. Rosli Ismail and Mr. John B. Williams, the High Commissioners for Malaysia and Ghana, and the new Ambassadors for Norway, the Czech Republic and Argentina Messrs Tore Hatterem, Hynek Kmonicek and Carlos Alvrez, respectively.  

The presentation of credentials took place at the Presidential Secretariat. Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Bhaila and Secretary to the President Mr.
Lalith Weeratunga were present on this occasion.
