Let us unite to solve National Question
– President tells UNP

President Mahinda Rajapaksa addressing a public rally at Buttala on Saturday (6) appealed to the United National Party (UNP) to unite with the Government to solve the National Question.
  
“As President of the country I have a duty and a responsibility to unite with all in serving the nation. That is why I am appealing to them,” the President explained.
  
It must be recalled that the President addressing the participants of the wap magul ceremony held at Nikaweratiya last week made a similar appeal to the Janata Vimukti Peramuna (JVP) to join with the Government.
