Mahinda Rajapakse arrived in Entabbe International Airport in Uganda to
attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) from
23-25 November 2007.
President Rajapakse was received at the airport by the Ugandan State
Minister of Trade Nelson Gagawal and the Sri Lankan High Commissioner
for Kenya and Uganda M.K. Kieran.
CHOGM
meets every two years and has 53 member states. The theme of this
years Meeting is “Transforming Commonwealth Societies to achieve
Political, Economic and Human Development”.
