Transfer technology to Sri Lanka,
President tells Iranian investors

President Mahinda Rajapaksa, now in Iran for a three-day official visit told Iranian investors yesterday (26) to develop bilateral relations and also transfer technology and science to Sri Lanka by investing in the country. Sri Lanka is ready to accept Iranian investors and will use all its potentials to facilitate such cooperation with Iran, the President added.

Iranian News Agency IRNA quoting the President said:
"We are following policies to grow our economy and we are trying to remove all obstacles in the way and present facilities to investors…Foreigners ownership is authorized in Sri Lanka and there is no limit to return of capital to the original country."
