One killed in LTTE suicide blast inside Ministry Office[Wednesday, November 28, 2007 - 5.00 GMT] A female LTTE suicide bomber blew herself inside the office of Social Services and Social Welfare Ministry, Isipatana Mawata, Havelock Town (Narahenpita police division), Colombo around 8.05 this morning (28) injuring three civilians.
Mr. Stephen Peiris, the Coordinating Secretary to the Ministry of Social Services and Social Welfare has succumbed to his injuries, Defense Ministry sources said. Two others have been admitted to the General Hospital, Colombo.
