Explosion in Ja Ela [Tuesday, January 08, 2008 - 6.05 GMT] A bomb triggered off at Ja Ela on the Colombo- Negombo road this morning (January 08) targeting a motorcade of Minister D. M. Dassanayake, defence sources said. According to Defence spokesman Brigadier Uadaya Nanayakkara the Minister and 5 civilians were injured in the explosion and have been admitted to Ragama hospital.
