Security forces take over sq. km in Mannar [Wednesday, January 09, 2008 - 8.30 GMT] Security forces have taken over another sq. km at Parappakandal in Mannar last night, defence sources said today (January 09). At least 19 LTTE terrorists were killed and several others were wounded, security sources added. According to defence sources one soldier was killed and several others were injured during the confrontations.
