 LTTE attacks farmers in Monagarala: Two killed, four injured
 [Wednesday, January 16, 2008 - 9.10 GMT] 

Two farmers were killed and four others were injured when LTTE attacked a group of poor farmers engaged in Chena cultivation in the Dambeyaya area, Okkampitiya, Monaragala this morning (January 16).

The injured have been admitted to the Monaragala hospital.
