Tea export earning reach all time high

Sri Lanka’s tea export earning in year 2007 exceeded US$ 1 billion for the first time in the 141 year- old tea industry. The total tea production during the year was 305 million kilograms. Russia is the main Sri Lankan tea buyer followed by UAE and Iran.
