LTTE attacks Sampathnuwara hospital

The LTTE committed another violation of international rules of war by firing mortars at Sampathnuwara hospital in Welioya this afternoon (February 8), defence sources said.

Four civilians injured in the attack were transferred to Padaviya hospital.

Earlier, it was the Welikanda hospital that came under LTTE attack few years ago.
