Schoolboy killed in LTTE gunfire attack in Ampara

A fourteen year old Tamil boy was killed and a Police Special Task Force (STF) trooper wounded in an LTTE gunfire attack at STF in Akkaraiypattu, Ampara last evening (February 11), defence sources said.

The victim was identified as Sinnarasa Susidaran, a student at Vinayagar Maha-Vidyalaya at Kolavil. According to Police sources, LTTE pistol group members have opened fire at a STF rider team who were patrolling in the area around 1.p.m.
