Heavy fighting continues in North

   

At least twenty five LTTE cadres were killed in confrontations in Mannar and Vavuniya yesterday (February 24), defence sources said.

According to defence sources five soldiers were also killed in these attacks.

Ground troops have destroyed three LTTE bunkers in Mannar and six bunkers in Parappakanda yesterday.
