Former Foreign Minister Tyronne Fernando (67) passed away in a private hospital in Colombo today (26). He entered politics contesting the Parliamentary Elections from the Colombo district. He held several ministerial portfolios during his political career. A graduate of the Oxford University, he was also a President's Counsel.
