Eelam show in London    
   
Tamil Youth Organization (TYO) of Harrow has arranged a cultural show named "Wind of Eelam" in London on March 1. The TYO is alleged to be a front organization of the LTTE. According to the organizers, proceeds of the show would be spent on a Youth Centre for Science and Education in Visvamadu, in the LTTE controlled territory in Sri Lanka However, it is alleged that they would be made use of by the LTTE for its armed activities against the Sri Lankan State.

The LTTE is banned in the UK as an international terrorist organization, and is prohibited from raising funds or assisting the terrorist organization that is carrying on a war of separation in Sri Lanka. On previous occasions the UK Police has taken action against those who carried out fund raising activities for the LTTE.
