Newly constructed roads and drainage systems in Pottuvil and Ampara open

   

The newly-constructed eight km- low maintenance roads and drainage structures throughout the Pottuvil division of the Ampara District were opened recently. The Project was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

With the professionally-constructed roads and drainage structures resident and visitors can travel with ease, US Embassy in Colombo said.

USAID funded the project commenced in 2006 and UNOPS implemented its construction.
