President Mahinda Rajapaksa directed relevant health authorities to necessary steps to upgrade the service provided by the provincial hospitals.

At a meeting held at Temple Trees on March 5 with officials of provincial level health authorities, President directed officials to minimize the deficiencies faced by the public when seeking treatment at provincial hospitals by transforming these hospitals into fully pledged modern hospitals by the provision of all necessary facilities.
