President's Easter Message
Easter has a very special place in the Christian calendar as the resurrection of Jesus Christ, while signifying his divinity has also shown mankind a path to the spiritual conquest of death.

Through Easter is seen the symbolism of renewal made possible to mankind with the all encompassing message of Christian love, which shows those who are divided on grounds of race, religion, language, caste and tribe the path to forgiveness, understanding and co-existence

I wish all Christians in Sri Lanka an Easter that brings with it divine blessings and leads us all closer to peace and harmony.
