Defeating terrorism, a must to enjoy economic benefits – President
Defeating terrorism is a must to enjoy equal development benefits by all communities in the county and the present government is embarked on two major challenges; maintain rapid economic development in every part of the country and equal distribution of such benefits, said President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

President made these comments at a ceremony held in Colombo today (April 8) to launch the Central Bank Annual Report 2007.

The main concern of the government is to develop the rural economy in the country bringing equal benefits to the people, President added.
