President visits Buddhism Cultural Park
President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Park this evening where he planted a Bo sapling, a symbolic of the historic and cultural relations between Sri Lanka and China.

This was the first official act by the President on his 3-day visit to China to attend the Boao Forum for Asia.

The President gifted a sandalwood statue of Buddha from Sri Lanka to Nanshaan Buddhist Cuture Park.
