Iranian President meets religious leaders

Iran always hopes to see a well developed and dignified Sri Lanka, a country which has set an example for the other countries working closely with the religious leaders, said Iranian President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Iranian President made these comments when he me senior dignitaries of the Buddhist, Christian, Hindu and Islamic clergy in Colombo this morning (April 29).

President Ahmadinejad who said his people always appreciate the friendly and cordial bilateral relations between the two countries said that is his and his people's desire to see a peaceful Sri Lanka soon.
