David Cameron, the Leader of Opposition in UK, assured President Mahinda Rajapaksa his fullest support in addressing issues of LTTE fund raising, procurement and other illicit activities which continued to fuel the escalation of the conflict.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa met the British Opposition Leader yesterday at the Opposition Leader’s office in Westminster London.

They discussed a range of bilateral issues including Sri Lanka’s terrorist menace and the country’s developmental activities in the Eastern Province after democracy has been re-introduced to the area.
