Do not hamper future of students – President requests teachers

 
Teachers when seeking solution for their problems should never take any steps that could affect the future of their students said President Mahinda Rajapaksa when he met members of Teachers’ Trade Unions today at Temple Trees.

Recommendations by the Salaries Commission were presented to President today and the President asked the teachers to come up with a solution package before July 1.

President further said that he is not only committed to ensure rights of military personnel but also teachers and students.
