Nominations for two PCs commence today

 
The nominations for the North Central and Sabaragamuwa Provincial Councils election will be received returning officers at the District Secretariats countrywide beginning from 9am today and the nominations will close at 12 noon on July 04.

The government dissolved the two provincial councils on June 9.

The North Central Provincial Council includes Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa districts consisting of 33 Provincial Council seats. Kegalle and Ratnapura districts come under the purview of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council comprising 44 Provincial Council seats.
