Omanthai check point reopened

 
The Omanthai entry-exit check point which was closed since last
Tuesday reopened a short while ago in the presence of the ICRC,
Military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said.

Officials of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) who man the check point were evacuated the Omanthai check point in the Vavuniya district following continued mortar fire by LTTE on July 1.
