The statute of Our Lady of Madhu, was enthroned yesterday at the Madhu Church .

Sri Lankan armed forces which retook the Madhu and neighboring region from the control of the LTTE repaired and renovated the church buildings.

As the church administration faces logistical problems, Bishop of Mannar has anounced that this year’s annual feast schedule for the 15th August will not be held.
