Government committed to rebuilding national unity - President

 

Government is committed to rebuilding national unity destroyed by terrorists for nearly three decades, said President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the inauguration of the Kataragama Museum built with Netherlands assistance.

Speaking further the President said that the museum will be a centre of national and religious unity as it has three separate sections which contain Buddhist, Hindu and Muslim exhibits.

The construction of the museum spanning an area 10,000 sq. ft. in extent cost Rs. 65 million.
