Govt condemns terrorist bombings in New Delhi

 
The government yesterday unequivocally condemned the series of terrorist bombs attacks which ripped through New Delhi on Saturday.

"Such barbaric acts of terrorism which can never be justified under any circumstance for whatever reason," said a Foreign Ministry statement.

In this hour of grief, government and people of Sri Lanka stand by the people and the Government of India in sympathy with those who suffered as a result of indiscriminate terrorist bombing and stand in solidarity with all comprehensive measures that are being taken by authorities in India to eradicate terrorism.
