Nugegoda flyover construction begins

 
Construction work of Nugegoda flyover commenced yesterday aiming to ease the huge traffic congestion in Colombo and suburbs.

This four line flyover is due to be completed by January 2009. The first two lanes will be constructed in the first phase.

The length of the flyover is 261 meters while the width is 8.7 metres.

The estimated cost for the project would be Rs.878 million which will be funded by UK.
