President Mahinda Rajapaksa returned to the island today (05) after a successful official visit to Turkey.

During his visit President Rajapaksa held bilateral talks with President of Turkey Abdulla Gul aand the Turkish business community.

Several agreements concerning bilateral relations were signed between the two countries during the visit. both leaders agreed to work together in combatting terrorism.
