Budget 2009 passed

 

The Third Reading of the 2009 budget was passed in Parliament today with a majority of 42 votes.

126 legislators voted for the budget while 84 voted against it.

The UPFA, JHU, SLMC, CWC, UPF, UNP (Democratic Group) voted for the budget. The UNP, JVP and TNA voted against it.
