Palestine & Sri Lanka to train teachers in the first grade and kindergarten

 

Palestine and Sri Lanka signed a Memorandum of Understanding to train and develop the skills of teachers in first grade and kindergarten on the issues of early childhood to help smooth the transition for a child from kindergarten to first grade.

Palestinian Minister of Education and Higher Education and Sri Lankan envoy in Ramallah Dr. T. Jayasinghe signed the agreement on behalf of the two countries.

In this context, the Minister Ms. AlAlami praised the Sri Lankan government's stance in support of the Palestinian cause and stressed the depth of the historical relationship between the two countries.

Dr. T. Jayasinghe siad that his country are ready to support the Palestinian education sector through exchange of experiences between the two countries in this respect, and the two countries agree the humans are the most important sources of development.
