Seven killed in LTTE claymore attack in Morawewa

 

Seven persons including three Air Force personnel and four civilians were killed in an LTTE claymore mine attack in Morawewa this morning.

Six more civilians were reported injured the attack.

The byroad claymore was triggered targeting civilians who were employed at an irrigation development project funded by the Government in the area. Air Force personnel were providing escort to the civilians, security sources said.
