The Opposition Leader of the Kotte Municipal Council Suraj Jayasooriya was arrested today on suspicion of complicity on the attack on Sirara media complex, Maharagama Police said.

The Sirasa media complex at Depanama, Pannipitiya was attacked on January 6 and President Mahinda Rajapaksa ordered a full investigation into the incident and called on the Inspector General of Police to apprehend the culprits.
