President arrives in Kathmandu

 
President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa arrived in Kathmandu a short while ago for a three-day state visit.

The President, who reached Nepal in a Chartered flight of the Sri Lankan Airlines, was received by Minister for Foreign Affairs Upendra Yadav at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA).

President Rajapaksa is scheduled to meet his counter part President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav later today.
