Five paddy farmers were killed and 2 wounded when a group of LTTE terrorists stormed into Dehiwatte village at Serunuwara yesterday.

The injured people were admitted to Kantale Hospital, Serunuwara Police said. The bodies of the deceased farmers were taken to the General Hospital at Muttur for postmortem. On 6th April, 1985 LTTE terrorists killed over 15 civilians at Dehiwatta, in a similar village massacre.
