Sea battle in off Chalai; a senior sea tiger leader killed

 

Al least 26 LTTE Sea Tigers killed and four LTTE boats were destroyed by the Navy during confrontation in Chalai, Mullativu this morning.

According to defence sources, a senior Sea Tiger leader ‘Maran’ was also killed in the battle.
