Sri Lanka - Indonesia sign bilateral agreement on visa exemption

 

Sri Lanka and Indonesia signed a bilateral agreement on visa exemptions for the diplomatic and officials travel between the two countries.

This agreement was singed by the Foreign ministers of Sri Lanka and Indonesia in the presence of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees today(30).

The President and the Indonesian Foreign Minister held bilateral talks on Economic and Social development relations between the two countries.

President Rajapaksa briefed the Foreign Minister about the present situation in the North of Sri Lanka and about the progress made by the government to improve the facilities of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in government controlled areas.
