President to address Parliament tomorrow

 

The President will address Parliament at the ceremonial opening of its next session at 9.30 am on Tuesday (19), when he is expected to make an important announcement on the defeat of the LTTE, freeing all civilians held hostage by it, liberating the entire country from terrorism and the future programme of development of the country.

The 13th Session of Parliament was prorogued by President Mahinda Rajapaksa effective midnight yesterday – May 17.
