The troops of Task Force 08 recovered the following war materials in a search operation conducted in the Vellamullavaikkal area yesterday (16):04 Com Radio sets, 02 Mortar Bombs, 05 Bangalore Torpedo, 06 T-56 Magazines, 77 Ammunition Boxes,12 HE Bombs, 01 81mm Weapon and 02 T-56 Weapons.

Meanwhile the troops of same Division recovered following military items in the Chalai area around 12.10pm on the same day: 03 MPMG Links, 01 Hand Grenades, 02 60mm Mortar Bombs, 18 Anti Personnel Mines, 01 RPG Bomb.

The troops of Task Force 08 also recovered 05 Hand Grenades, 05 Anti Personnel mines and 05 Detonators in a search operation conducted in the Puthukudueuruppu area between 08.30 am and 3.50pm yesterday (16).

One 60mm Mortar bomb and a Hand Grenade were recovered by the troops of Task Force 08 in a search operation conducted in the Kuppilankulam area yesterday (16).

Meanwhile the troops of same Division have recovered following war materials in the Pattikarai area between 11.40am and 1.00pm yesterday (16): 76 Anti Personnel Mines, 01 60mm Mortar Bomb, 01 Claymore Mine, 11 RPG Bombs, 01 80mm Mortar Bomb, 01 Peddle Gun Ammunition.

Following military equipment were recovered by the troops of 57 Division in a search operation conducted in the Pullayanpokkanei area between 11.20am and 1.45 pm yesterday (16):01 Mortar Bomb,02 T-56 Weapons ,06 Anti Personnel Mines ,04 Hand Grenades.
