The
Pakistan
Cricket
Board
says it
is
satisfied
with the
security
arrangements
made for
Younis
Khan and
his men
in Sri
Lanka
where
they
will
play a
Test and
ODI
series
starting
July 4.
PCB
chairman
Ejaz
Butt's
comments
came
after
media
reports
from
Colombo
stated
that the
Sri
Lankan
Cricket
Board
has been
told
about
possible
threats
of an
attack
on the
Pakistan
team on
their
current
tour.
"We are
totally
satisfied
with the
arrangements
made for
our
players.
Our
manager,
Yawar
Saeed
has also
sent a
report
stating
the
security
arrangements
are top
class,"
he said.
Butt
said the
Sri
Lanka
Board
was
providing
the
highest
level of
security
to the
Pakistani
players.
"We had
sent a
few
suggestions
to our
counterparts
and they
have
incorporated
them in
the
security
plan for
our
team. We
have
full
confidence
in the
Sri
Lankan
arrangements,"
he said.
