Sri Lanka holds first SA Vocational Education Summit

 

The first South Asian Vocational Education and Training Conference will be held in Sri Lanka from August 19 to 22.

Over 200 intellectuals and scholars are expected to participate in this conference. They will include participants from the USA, Canada, England, Germany, Pakistan, India, Australia and several other countries.

The conference will focus on eliminating poverty through the sustainable utilization of vocational education and also deliberate on the practical implications of vocational education to the social and economic development of a nation.

The summit is organized in collaboration with the Department of Technical Education and Training (DTET) and the International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA).
