This event will be held on October 18 and 19 and it will include four main features - lectures, display by officials of the Northern Province Ministry of Local Government, Cultural pageants and prizes and award ceremony.

The event on October 18 will take place at the Jaffna Central College and the event on the 19 will be held at Weerasighem Hall in Jaffna, said Secretary, Northern Local Government Ministry, Vijayalakshmi Ramesh.

This event is designed to enhance relations between the people after the end of a three decade old war, said Governor of the Northern Province Major General G.A Chandrasiri at a media conference held today (05).
