President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (23) on his second day of the three day state visit to Socialist Republic Vietnam visited the Mausoleum of late President of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh in the city of Hanoi this morning (23).

President paying respect to the late leader of Vietnamese Communist revolution and statesman who was the Prime Minister (1946–1955) and the President (1945–1969) of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam laid a wreath at the foot of the monument.

 

President Rajapaksa also visited the late President Ho Chi Minh relic area at the Presidential Palace and the Temple of Literature in Hanoi.

The President also had a meeting with the Ambassador of China to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam this morning.
