New IGP appointed

 

Senior DIG Mahinda Balasuriya was appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) by President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (2).

His appointment follows the retirement of Mr. Jayantha Wickremaratne in November this year.
