Mullaitivu schools re-open

 
The Government has taken steps to re-open two schools in Mullaitivu District after a lapse of few years in an effort to provide educational opportunities to the resettled children in the North.

Authorities opened, Yogapuram Maha Vidyalaya in Challai area of Mullaitivu today (Nov. 9). Measures also have been taken to re-open the Iyyankulam Government Training Mixed School in Thunukkai soon.

The Government hopes to provide education facilities to nearly 300 resettled children in Mullaitivu through these two schools.
